Why was this restoration forest planted?
Afforesting this site provides a long term, nature based solution to combat desertification and soil erosion. Trees have the ability to reverse soil degradation, transforming sandy, infertile land into healthy, biodiverse ecosystems.
Latest work carried out: June 2026. Mechanized inter row cultivation and partial manual hoeing around saplings planted during the most recent replacement planting season.
